Wilson rush pro 3.0 review

I usually wear a 6 and had to exchange first pair for a 6.5. The toe box is awesome and very comfy soles. I had to put my arch insert in as the arch support is not all that great. I searched for quite awhile to find a shoe for pickleball that did not allow my feet to slide around, but yet did not cut the circulation off because of a small toe box. These are just the right in between shoe for people with not too wide and not too narrow of a foot. I have gotten lots of compliments already on the beautiful coral color!

I'd also recommend:

K-swiss for a wide foot or asics for a narrow foot

Excellent support, fantastic cushioning and lightweight shoe. This is my second pair. I’ve had toe surgery and have a though time finding shoes. I play 5-6 times a week and my feet don’t get tired in these shoes. Wish there was more selection in color.

I really like these shoes for tennis. The tongue is perfectly attached so that it doesn't move at all. The sole has a heavy-duty tread which seems like it will last longer. Very comfortable & breathable material. The B-width is a wide enough toe box for me. I usually have issues with narrow toe boxes. I’ve been wearing them 2 weeks now and give them 5 stars!

Very pleased! They feel excellent on court. Typically I have struggled to find court shoes that did not feel overly heavy. These feel great and light, yet very supportive and cushioning. Very pleased! I'm typically an 8 or 8.5. The 8 in these was perfect.

I love this shoe! I just ordered my second pair and I use them to play Pickleball 5 times per week for 2-3 hour sessions. They are roomy in the toe box. The tongue is attached too so there's no need for adjusting that mid play. My whole foot/ankle area feels comfortably cradled and supported in this shoe. I have had many shoes over the years and this one is by far the best and most comfortable. I do have to put in an arch support for high arches/plantar fasciitis but I have to do that in any shoe.

I'd also recommend:

Babolat

Best tennis shoes I've ever worn. Comfortable straight out of the box. I've never tried Wilsons before and I'm so happy I took a chance. Can't say enough about these except I wish they would make them in some sort of black/white/silver color combination. Not all women want to wear bright colors but don't like to wear all white or pastels.

I really like how these shoes fit and they provide the stability that I like on the court. I have a high arch, and I do not have a wide foot, it's more standard to slightly narrow. They really fit well through the heel and mid-foot with good padding and arch support. I wish there was a little more padding in the forefoot but it's good enough. Would recommend these highly.

Heads up, these shoes are not the muted melon color that they appear in the photo. They are neon orange.

I'm super picky on my tennis court shoes. I don't like when they're super rigid and don't bend because I'm a big runner during matches and these felt like a glove. I have slightly wide feet and these felt good! I do recommend giving them a whirl, they'll compete with any court shoe!

The toe box in this shoe is very big. I have worn an 8 1/2 for 40 years but this shoe is big. Not sure why being my last pair of Wilson’s tennis shoe fit fine.

I am a pickleball player and have been looking for a good support shoe with ankle support, one that is very comfortable and one that doesn't fall apart in the toe and side of the shoe. My last pair I had I went to a store that measures your feet and tells you what type of shoe you should get. Well I spent over $100 for them and within two months of wear already had a hole in the toe box and was past the warranty date. I also have a pair of Hoka's that I really love but that pair wore holes in the sides of the shoes, but at least they lasted approximately six months and were comfortable. So I know with pickleball just like tennis you are at times scraping your toes on the ground and doing a lot of side to side movements. I hesitated getting a court shoe because they have a reputation of not being all that comfortable but I thought maybe by now they would have improved. I spent a long time doing research on shoes and reading reviews and ended up with this pair. When I first tried them on I thought I think these might work. Well today was the third time I wore them and I ended up putting in an extra cushioning insert. They are great as far as not feeling like I am going to roll my ankle but I'm having some buyers remorse because to me they just aren't that comfortable and they feel heavier than what I am used to. I like a lot of cushion. Unfortunately I've worn them three times already and don't think I can send them back. I might have to look for some other type of insert that has more cushion. Not something I wanted to have to do but oh well. I'll continue to look for that perfect shoe.

These shoes fit great, but after wearing them while playing tennis for 1hr my ankles ached and my legs. I then noticed the tongue of the shoe is not loose like other tennis shoes. It is attached with a wide band of elastic. I do not have a circulation problem, but I have tried them on numerous occasions and my ankles/legs would ache for hours during and after taking them off.

How much does the Wilson Rush Pro 3.0 weight?

Wilson managed to cut nearly an ounce off the Rush Pro 3.0 (Rush Pro 3.0: 14.1 oz, Rush Pro 2.5: 14.9 oz), making the shoe faster and a touch more dynamic. The upper has been upgraded with Sensifeel 2.0, and features a lightweight mesh in contrast to the 2.5 with no noticeable loss in stability or comfort.

Is Wilson Rush Pro true to size?

Fit Tip: Length: True to size.
