Anyone ordering this shoe needs to know they run waaaay small. I am a female who usually wears a 9, maybe 9.5 in cleats. I ordered a 7.5 because was told that men’s to women’s difference is about 1.5. Returned the 7.5, got an 8. Returned the 8, got an 8.5. Returned 8.5 and finally am getting a 9 which I think will finally work. If these were truly men’s sizes, that would mean I’m wearing a 10.5! That’s ridiculous! It was wasted time and energy, but, worth the wait because they are extremely comfortable shoes, even without having to wear them in.

What did Nike replace Magista with?

The PhantomVSN boot replaces the Magista, which was initially designed for the defence-focused midfielder position. According to Nike Football's senior innovation designer Phil Woodman, the favoured style of play has changed in recent years to become more attack-orientated, and new equipment is needed to support this.

When did Nike stop making Magistas?

Although the Magista received a tonne of backing from Nike, a number of factors led to its discontinuation in 2018.
