Hello lovelies!! How is everyone? I’ve been a bit busy with life so I haven’t been up to reviewing stuff. I have a backlog the size of whoa. So instead of a full dedicated review, I thought I’d give you a full run down of swatches from the rom&nd lines that I’ve bought. Show (I’ll say sorry in advance at my skin condition in the lip swatches, my skin hasn’t been behaving lately.) I hope this helps anyone who’s been curious about which one would work best for them. Romand Zero Velvet TintDescription: Silicone-based tint that has strong staining power. You can feel this on the lips because of the silicone but it’s not too heavy. Good for dry lips as it will fill and soften those lip lines. Looks soft and plushy on the lips. Has a fragrance that fades after a little while.
Similar texture to the Zero Velvet Tint, the Milk Tea collection is just different colors, a collection inspired by Milk Tea, so expect a more muted and darker color range. They smell just like chocolate!
*4 variations are available in this line. I don’t have Red Tea and Caramel Tea. Romand Juicy Lasting TintSlightly watery sticky (if you know what I mean) lip gloss-like tint that is super pigmented and extremely lightweight. Smells v. fruity, reminds me of the Lilybyred fruit fragrances.
(Quite a range and rom&nd is still adding more every season. At the time of writing, there’s 13ish. It’s not my favorite formula so I didn’t buy a lot but those autumn 2020 colors are so tempting.) Romand Glasting Water TintThe lightest and nonstickiest glossy tint in the range , it’s VERY lightweight and sheerer than the others but buildable. Very comfortable on the lips. The glasting water tint is my favorite lippie from the rom&nd range. I had to take a photo inside and outside because the shine doesn’t quite show through on the insde photos, however the inside color is truer to the real color than the outside photo.
(Currently there are 8 glasting water tints at the time of writing.) Romand – Neonmoon Glasting Water TintSimilar to the Glasting Water Tints, this is just repackaged in the Neonmoon lavender color (super cute color!!) with the addition of a new color 09- Soft Pool.
(5 Tints are available in this line. I don’t have Red Drop, Vintage Ocean and Rose Splash. Although these particular ones seem to be colors that are part of the normal Glasting Water Tint line.) Romand Zero Gram Matte LipstickBullet lipstick with a matte finish, there is a silicone slip to the lipstick so it glides on creamily, doesn’t settle too much into fine lines. While not as heavy as the Velvet Matte in terms of weight, you can definitely tell it is there though it is not uncomfortable. Decently pigmented, and smooth. I was quite surprised at the finish, I’m not a fan of matte bullet lipsticks but this was pretty good.
My Zero Gram Matte lipsticks are from the “Best on my Lips” Warm Tone and Cool Tone series. The kits are definitely a great way to try on their formulas. Is Romand matte lipstick good?The color and packaging are both beautiful, no complaints here. I love the embossed &, I haven't seen that before. The formula is a bit dry. I'm so used to velvet tints that start out somewhat creamy and then set to a more matte finish, but this lipstick starts out matte.
