Is it worth going to Ko Samui?

Koh Samui is an island paradise in the south of Thailand, known for its nightlife, scenic viewpoints and long stretches of sandy beach. Popular with holiday-makers and travellers alike, there's also a thriving expat community residing on Koh Samui.

Is Koh Samui really touristy?

For some people, this overly touristy atmosphere is far from idyllic, but you can avoid this by staying in a quieter location such as in the Mae Nam district. The beaches in Koh Samui are beautiful, but aside from this, there isn't a huge number of attractions on the island – at least, not ones we would want to do.

Where is the least touristy part of Koh Samui?

Where to Find Samui's Hidden Beaches?.

Samrong Beach & Thongson Bay..

Thongtakian (Silver Beach).

Thong Krut Beach..

Laem Yai..

Ban Tai Beach..

Cultural attractions: Koh Samui has a rich cultural heritage, with temples, shrines, and other cultural attractions to explore. Jungle & waterfalls: The island is home to several beautiful jungle areas and waterfalls, providing a great opportunity for nature lovers to explore.
