Cons: "This was my worst EVER airline experience. It was delayed 27 hours and the snow was not the only problem. When we finally got on board a plane we sat on the runway for over two hours - then they FORGOT to load the luggage!!!"

Cons: "For the amount of passengers boarding, they started the boarding process way too late which resulting in a delay taking off. The entire boarding process felt sloppy, disorganized, and hectic. They allowed passengers to board that were seated at the end of the plane while some 1 was boarding, causing tons of congestion. The boarding process was the slowest I have ever experienced in all the flights I’ve been on. The crew was ok, but slightly snappy/rude like typical New Yorkers. The flight from ft. Lauderdale to New York was much more pleasant."

Pros: "The staff tried their best to help out with the situation. They passed out waters and apologized. I always love the Delta entertainment (so many great selections)!"

Cons: "Stuck in the plane without AC for an hour! We were stuck behind 14 other planes in line to take off and I understand delays happen but the AC wasn't working for some reason and it was extremely hot. The passengers were all super uncomfortable. I wish if they knew we were going to be delayed that they would let us just wait at the gate vs. suffer in the sauna plane."

Pros: "The flight was on schedule and landed early, and the pilot landed that plane very gently. It was quite impressive."

Cons: "I purchased a first class ticket in hopes that I would have a lot more comfort during the flight. It took me quite some time to get comfortable. The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

Cons: "Most everything was excellent, however my 2 year old daughter's in seat entertainment screen wasn't working. It was a full flight and there was no option to change seats. I brought it to the flight attendants attention however she wasn't able to reset it. A 7-hour flight from NY to Zurich travelling with small children without the movies was not as pleasant as it could have been."

Cons: "First day our flight got canceled 1 hour before leaving the airport. No good explanation given. Planes were landing and departing from Columbus just our flight got cancelled which made no sense. Over the phone no one was really helpful. Very bad experience with Delta"

Rude agents at gate and when I called and spoke to a Delta representative, was told that they would have never put me on that flight due to short connection time. To which I replied that thet is an issue between Delta and their business withthe booking site and the customer should not be to blame"

Cons: "Delta employee who drive shuttle to connection stopped to drop off a passenger and proceed to chat w other workers thereby getting me to my gate late and missing my connection and getting me to Florida almost 3 hours later than planned. Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

Cons: "The cancellation of original flight was stressful as I had a wedding to attend and the long delay and subsequent cancellation of original flight prevented me from it. Further, I was forced to get local transport after arrival in FLL, since I missed my ride altogether."

Pros: "Many passengers did not have seat assignments and we also ran out of over head storage resulting in many additional bags to be checked at the gate(mine included) but the crew and staff at the desk inside laguardia work quickly and efficiently to get everyone boarded and we ended up landing 15 minutes early."

Cons: "This plane has not been updated since before I was born. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and there was no in seat entertainment, just overhead screens. I was never able to get the WiFi to work. There were no power outlets, and we were never offered headphones, eye masks or ear plugs. I expected more from American since our 2hr flight from Orlando to JFK had working WiFi, power outlets and in-seat video monitors."

Cons: "Many groups were not seated together. at the airport I asked if my husband and I could be put together . One worker seemed interested in helping, but another rudely butted in and said there "were no seats together, the flight was full." Come to find out the flight was not full, there were whole rows not full. The groups near our seats rearranged ourselves so we could be by our family members, so it worked out. No thanks to the person at the terminal. Really long walk from the gate to the plane. No food on a cross country flight. Only a few cups of water/soda and a cookie. which unfortunately is typical now days. The lights were off the whole trip. The captain kept turning on the seat belt sign for the turbulence. Which there was a lot of. But then he would announce for everyone to go back to their seats. It wasn't huge bumps, just a little rough. and it woke everyone up by announcing it multiple times."

Pros: "Almost everything. Only the food was lacking. I like their new planes. The outlet at the seat in coach. The magazine options at the seat as well. I did not look at the entertainment so I will not rate that. The crew was professional."

Cons: "Just the food options. Ginger snaps was what was served for food and a beverage. I suppose this is what obtains on most airlines these days but can't I hope for something more like maybe a sandwich? AA has the opportunity to set themselves apart in this area."

Cons: "This is my first time with the airline. It’s safe to say I’ll wont be booking with American Airlines again in the future. The crew members were rude, unattentive and just bitter. It started with simply boarding. The lady at the desk was rude about telling me I needed to consolidate my bags. I ended up just checking the carry-on in. We asked one crew member on board if we could throw our trash away and she just seems annoyed. We also asked for ear buds and she never arrived with them simply stating they will offer/hand them out after they come around. She just seemed like she hates her job. Just terrible attitudes. very unpleasant flight."

Cons: "I feel like they are cramming more seats on a plane. I am 5'2 and I felt I had no leg room!!!! It's an international flight, they should be some roominess!!! I rather chose an Asian airline than a USA airline. I can't believe the space!"

Cons: "Strange thing: my wife and I were in business class. The stewardess going down my isle said all dinner choices were already used up and I only had a choice of pasta or chicken. Later the stewardess went down the isle for my wife and she had all choices available! Weird. And the stewardess said this was as it was supposed to be."

Pros: "The plane was cleaned, the movie was good and the food was good with lower price. It was a no problem flight and on time."

Cons: "Flight departed approximately 5 hours late, excuses given by employees didn't make sense."

Cons: "I am surprised that an 8 hr international flight, had no WIfi.. I had to continually ask and check the time with Crew members. This needs to change when the average seat is $800-900 and the flight holds 35 seats. AA is raking in WAY to much money to be this cheap. No WiFi and having to look up to the middle isle to watch a child's movie on repeat " Guardians of the Galaxy." My neck and back were in extreme discomfort from the 8 hr flight back to NYC. If AA had headrest monitors and WiFi this could be avoided. Its 2017 stop being cheap!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed more times than I can count, we got a different reason each time. Weather I can understand, but telling us we are waiting on a specific crew to arrive and then announcing that crew is not for our flight was just terrible communication. No one seemed apologetic. The only thing they did was bring a snack cart over for us, and that got raided by children so many people didn't get anything. We had arranged transport from Orlando to Tampa for that evening, and our rides had to cancel because instead of 7pm we were now arriving at 130am. Your airline's mistakes put everyone at an inconvenience and we weren't offered assistance to fix it. My husband went to ask for help in arranging new transport home, but he couldn't even get to the front of the line. The customer service was terrible. We really enjoyed our first leg of the flight home with American Airlines, but after the second leg and all of the problems we had... we will not fly with American Airlines in the future."

Cons: "The planes are old. Needless to say there is no Wi-Fi, and the only entertainment on a 7.5 hour flight was a tiny tv in the center of aisle. 1987 tech in 2017. Our plane was delayed for 8 hours due to a broken hydrolics system, and no compensation for additional expenses due to equipment failure was offered."

An ancient plane, cramped seating, wretched food. 3. An hour late departing JFK & arriving CDG so right in the middle of Paris rush hour !!"

Pros: "Take off and landing was incredibly smooth, along with the 8 hour flight from NYC to Rome, Italy. Perhaps the best flight I've ever had."

Cons: "The food wasn't all that good but I didn't have high expectations."

Pros: "The TVs/back of the chairs were great because they could shut off completely so there was no screen glare when you want to sleep, the headphone jack worked with good sound quality, and there was a decent movie selection. Staff was courteous and the food was fine."

Cons: "This flight itself was great overall. No complaints. The only thing I didn't like was that I'd wanted to book a return direct flight on American Airlines as well, but the price skyrocketed from a few hundred to over $2200, which is just outrageous, so I booked TAP Portugal instead. My friend paid under $600 round trip and it boggles the mind that the same flights shot up to over $2k... It's not realistic to expect customers to stay loyal to an airline that prices them out."

Pros: "What I enjoyed about this flight is that I eventually made it to Chicago."

Cons: "Flight was delayed several times - blamed on Chicago ATC. The food offered was not suitable for First Class - there was chicken and vegetarian option. The FA was rather slow in serving and clearing trays. She was not interested in going around and asking for refills - when I inquired about it at dessert time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes and I had to ring the call button - she informed me they didn't have my drink of choice, so it was OK for her not to come back and tell me that. Service was terrible in First Class. American should seriously do something about that."

Pros: "Movies, wine"

Cons: "When checking in the staff was so incredibly rude, nonexistent during the whole check in process that it led to several people missing their flights or almost missing it. I had to run around asking for someone to help the long line of people including me who were all in danger of missing their flight because no one was around to help. And then when I finally do get checked in using the now kiosk only option for the plebeian class while anyone above economy gets to talk to real people (way to highlight the class divide guys) I missed my check in time by 5 minutes and was told by the kiosk to find an agent. Then I go running around looking for an agent. I find one and she says you missed your flight. I told her I still have 45 minutes to make it, and she rudely just tells me to get in another line to pay for a new ticket. LUCKILY someone in the priority line saw I was having a problem, a customer not an agent, and she told me to try to talk to someone on her side. After 3 agents told me no one finally told me yes.
