On first use, I didn't see a huge change but my teeth definitely looks brighter and not as yellowish after a week's usage! As for users with weak gums (like I do), keep in mind to always follow up with a mouth wash meant for gingivitis or use a Gum Protection toothpaste and apply some on the gums before you use any whitening toothpaste.
