For everyday use, the Poco M5 is markedly snappier and significantly faster in gaming. It's not even close. Unless you're using a clean, debloated, and optimized custom ROM, the G99 far outperforms the 680. +94 Reply Oleg 13 October 2023 17:46 The benefit of a SD680 tablet is basically that there is a chance that the device will get a LineageOS port. Mediatek implies no LineageOS at all. +69 Reply Not 06 October 2023 15:08 Not really equal to equal here but I would still argue that SD680 is an overall winner in real-life use. +108 Reply Potato. 06 October 2023 15:47 No shot. The g99 is far superior due to much newer core technology. Specs seem similar on paper but in practice and with the same RAM amount, the g99 smokes the 680. +46 Reply Hocn 06 October 2023 17:11 I mean i get what you mean but the only thing sd 680 is winning her is battery life since the g99 is made for gaming and the 680 is just for general use so you are correct but not really. +20 Reply p51 10 October 2023 22:10 For general use, the experience on the G99 is significantly better than on the 680. I use the SD 7 Gen 1, and it feels laggy. If I were looking for a more affordable tablet, the G99 would be my choice. +31 Reply MKPROHD 15 February 2023 17:10 Efficiency used to be the strong argument in favor of snapdragon processors, but now MediaTek is just plain better. |
