Hiiiiiii guys! It’s been awhile since the last time I write a blogpost, aaannndddd today I’m doing a makeup review!

To be honest, I’m not a lip-tint kinda girl, I’m more a matte lip cream kinda girl. BUT! Peripera is releasing a new shade for their airy ink velvet line~~~~ so I’m kinda tempted to buy some since they are so pretty! So after a lot of thinking I decided to buy 2 shade of their 5 new shade, which is no 8. Glimpse Brick Brown and no. 10 Dry Rose Brown.

As always, the lip-tint is in Peripera’s signature packaging which I really like because its super cute! But the product description is all written in korean, and since I can’t even understand korean, I don’t know what’s written in the product description. duh. Anyway, according to Peripera’s website, this lip-tint is a very light-weight and non-drying tint that will give you a velvet flower petal-ish finish. And so they say, this lip-tint is a best-seller in Korea, and I think this tint is a best-seller too in Indonesia.

The applicator is the usual lip-tint/lip-cream applicator, and thank god its not too narrow nor too straight. I don’t like an applicator that’s too narrow because it somehow makes it hard to apply. And once again, according to Peripera’s website the applicator has a air passageway so we can get a lighter finish.

Each bottle contains 0.28oz which is around 8gram that can be used up to 12 months, meaning it will be expire in 12 months and you shouldn’t use it if its already past 12 months guyss!! don’t!! using an expired makeup will only do you bad things:( So if its already past 12 months since you open this bottle and you haven’t used it completely yet, you have to say goodbye to this baby. Anyway, this tint smells like a mint candy and somehow has a mint-ish cool-ish feeling when I applied it on my lip.

I don’t know why but no matter how many times I took this picture, the swatch of Dry Rose Brown turned out to be pink-brown-ish, but in real life it was more purple-ish shade. I was looking for a lip-tint that has a more deep/warmer tone rather than a bright tone and I’m excited when I saw Peripera’s airy ink velvet new shade. But, I actually kinda disappointed when I try this on my lip because I’m expecting it to has a more brown tone, rather, the Dry Rose Brown has a purple tone when I apply it on my lip and the Glimpse Brick Brown is more leaning towards a coral tone than brown.

Dry Rose Brown is kinda not wearable for me since it turned to be purple-ish colour on my lip and its just not my usual color. But, I can mix Dry Rose Brown and Glimpse Brick Brown altogether and it turned out to be a shade that’s more me~. I love the Glimpse Brick Brown though, and I don’t hate this lip-tint since it do have a velvet-y finish which I reallllyyyyy loveeeeee! and its true that this lip-tint is super light weight and non-drying. I prefer to finish the application with dabbing it with my finger to make more natural and velvet look.

In my opinion, peripera ink airy velvet is worth to buy since they’re cheap and very pigmented and very long-lasting. I definitely will repurchase this tint if they ever release a new shade that has a warmer tone or more brown tone.

When it was boiling hot this summer, I was looking for the lightest foundation, aka tinted moisturizer, which would be skin-friendly and tinting at the same time. And my search has finally led me to the Peripera Ink Blurring Skin Tint SPF50+ PA++++

Price: $9.5

Design:

It’s simple yet interesting at the same time. Initially, the bottle with the product was packed with a cardboard box of a natural body color.

The box also reveals the ingredients used. I attached the photo but for me it says nothing. I don’t understand a thing when it comes to the cosmetics ingredients. The only thing that I can say for sure is that Koreans adore skin-friendly components and infuse their foundation with them. And here, the so-called “skin tint” hasn’t become an exception. There we can see a lot of wholesome extracts.

When I received this product, at first I thought that it only contained 15ml, because the bottle looked so tiny. But later on I found out that it had 30 standard ml. Such an optical illusion.

The bottle is soft plastic and feels as though rubber. It’s light and compact. It’ll be a good travel-friendly option for you wherever you go. You can be sure that it won’t break down or crack.

Each cosmetic item from Peripera has the lettering INK and I can see that here the design states for its naming as well.

The top cap is screw-on and it’s also plastic.

The tube has a long nozzle dispenser.

I don’t hold anything against the packaging. It’s cute, tiny and handy to us.

Shade:

I have it in the darkest shade, which is

23 Sand and almost any Korean product, which has

23 code is the darkest from the lineup.

My skin is olive and swarthy and this shade matches it so well. Well, at first it looks a little bit pale for me but it quickly adjusts to my natural skin color.

Sand offers neutral undertones.

Texture:

The naming of “skin tint” seems to be more like a marketing ploy, since the product is just a foundation, which is hella good!

The product is lightweight, texture-wise, as a fluid.

It applies so nicely, as though I used the softest primer beforehand.

And now, I’ll show you the product in action, as much as possible.

Here’s my nude skin:

Then I apply the product and blend it out with a damp beauty sponge.

• It doesn’t take me more than 10 seconds to blend it out, because the formula spreads itself very well, covering my skin with a thin layer.
• The coverage is medium and the product really helps me to even out my skin blemishes. The coverage is buildable, btw.
• I don’t feel the product present on my skin at all and it doesn’t form any mask. My skin appears sleek and so healthy-looking.
• When my skin turns to the problematic side, I keep using this product because it doesn’t accentuate any woes, or settle into my pores. It doesn’t have enough coverage to conceal my pimples but for me, that’s fine because it’s a basic product and after that I usually use a concealer.
• The “skin tint” from Peripera offers a satin finish. I feel the product like a veil over my face. It’s like glowing from within.
• Since my skin is oily, I have to use a powder to set all my foundations. And here I also use the Peripera loose powder. This foundation is long-wearing and by the end of the day it doesn’t budge or settle into my pores. At least if I use the powder.

Overall:

Peripera Ink Blurring Skin Tint SPF50+ PA++++ hasn’t become the product that I was looking for. But I’m so glad with it because it has become my favorite foundation. I like how my skin looks with it on and also the way it performs. I’ll keep on using it in the summer and winter with pleasure.

In my opinion, this foundation has all the rights to be called “high-end” because it’s characteristics are true to life. The SPF here is a bonus, which the formula is enriched with. I also appreciate the affordable price of the item.
