The webcam’s high-end 4K SONY Image Sensor ultimately makes the Lumina Webcam capable of recording high-quality video at a maximum resolution of 4K so that users can have a studio-like image-quality, or a minimum resolution of either 1080p or 720p at a reasonably smooth Frame Rate of 40 fps.

SET UP / INSTALLATION

When it comes to the Lumina Webcam’s set-up process, know that mounting this webcam to your Desktop PC or laptop is a very simple and easy process, taking you no more than 3 to 5 minutes at most.

All you have to do is to carefully screw-in the webcam’s included Screwing Mount to its dedicated Screw-Mounting Slot, which is located at the bottom-side of the webcam’s aluminum body. You can also use the kit’s included Hex Key to further make the webcam’s dedicated Mount a bit tighter.

Once again, note that the webcam’s included Screwing Mount is compatible with 1/4” Tripods, so you can also use it with one of those if you ever wish to do so.

The only thing left to do is to connect the Lumina Webcam to your PC or laptop via either of its two (x2) included USB Connection Cables (either its USB-C to USB-A Cable or its USB-C to USB-C Cable).

Once that’s done, you can then mount the webcam onto the top-side of your PC / laptop screen.

CONNECTIVITY

Once again, users can also further adjust the settings for the webcam’s Auto-Framing AI Cameraman via the Lumina App by adjusting settings like its video-framing range, FOV transition speeds, the webcam’s reaction time for its Auto-Framing Adjustments, and also its transition curve in order to make everything look smoother and more natural.

Adaptive Color Correction System

Furthermore, the Lumina Webcam also boasts an Adaptive Color Correction System that gives the webcam’s AI-powered system a baseline for realistic colors within its recorded live video footage, which essentially helps to not only repair color deficiencies by boosting or disabling specific color-values, but also to help correct lighting temperature values.

This ultimately allows its Adaptive Color Correction System to find the perfect exposure levels for the user(s) within its video-frame in order to make them look / appear more natural (including both their clothing items as well as their skin-color).

To allow the Lumina Webcam to automatically calibrate its Adaptive Color Correction System, all that users have to do is to hold up the webcam’s included Lumina 17-Patch Color Card within its video-frame for a couple of seconds, for which the webcam will then immediately calibrate all wrong color-values for you.

Last but not least, this smart AI-powered webcam also boasts an Auto Light Adjustment that’s automatically activated whenever mid-light to low-light conditions are detected within a user’s video.
