STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg hit back at Donald Trump on Twitter late on Thursday saying the U.S. president should “chill” about the election, a riposte to his tweet last year mocking the teenager over what he called her anger management issues.

Commenting on Trump tweeting “STOP THE COUNT!” on Thursday, as the election race in the United States went to the wire, 17-year-old Thunberg tweeted: “So ridiculous. Donald must work on his Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Donald, Chill!”

The tweet has been liked 1.2 million times so far and re-tweeted 266,000 times.

Trump took to Twitter in December last year after Thunberg was named Time’s Person of the Year for 2019, mocking the 17-year-old in exactly the same manner for her impassioned pleas to governments to act to stop global warming.

“So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” Trump wrote, commenting on a tweet from another person congratulating Thunberg on the Time prize.

Thunberg responded at the time by updating her Twitter biography to include: “A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old-fashioned movie with a friend.”

With his re-election chances fading as more votes are counted in a handful of battleground states, U.S. President Donald Trump launched an extraordinary assault on the country’s democratic process from the White House on Thursday, falsely claiming the election was being “stolen” from him.

Written by the former reality show contestant before he took his own life, the note says that he considered his bikini model ex-wife, Jasmine Fiore, the love of his life, but that he was resentful because he believed she was cheating on him, a police spokesman said Monday.

Jenkins, 32, had been charged in Fiore's gruesome slaying. The former Playboy model was found in a suitcase in a Buena Park trash bin early on Aug. 15, 2009. Her nose was broken, she was badly beaten and she was missing the last joint of all her fingers, and her teeth, presumably to hamper efforts to identify her.

Police ultimately learned her name by tracking the serial number on her breast implants, but not until Jenkins had a three-day head start on his escape.

The one-page suicide note was found on Jenkins' laptop. It was titled "Will and Testament." In the letter, he apologized to his family for causing trouble but made no mention of Fiore's slaying, Sgt. Bill Kohanek said.

The note was found on the hard drive after the former VH1 contestant hanged himself in a Canadian motel room, said Kohanek.

"About half of the letter described how much he loved her, and in the same breath, he would talk about how frustrated she made him and that he felt very jealous about some of her relationships and that frustrated him immensely," Kohanek said.

Jenkins, who appeared on "Megan Wants a Millionaire," fled for his native Canada 24 hours after Fiore's body was found. The son of a prominent Calgary architect was found days later in an isolated motel in Hope, British Columbia, where he had committed suicide.

HELSINKI (Reuters) - Finland’s Rovio, maker of hit mobile phone game Angry Birds, said it will axe about a third of its workforce and will spin off its learning business to focus on games, media and consumer products.

The company will cut 213 jobs, having said in August it planned to slash up to 260 jobs when it forecast flat sales and falling profits for the full year.

Rovio has failed to create new hit games since the 2009 launch of Angry Birds, the top paid mobile app of all time, though it has tried to capitalise on its most successful brand by licensing its use on a string of consumer products.

Almost all of the job losses will be in Finland, the company said.

A Rovio spokeswoman said the company was also planning to discontinue its learning businesses, which include Angry Birds Playground, a preschool concept which it had licensed in China and Singapore, and digital learning tools.

“A spinoff startup company is looking to find funding to continue the business in a company focusing on Angry Birds Playground and digital learning tools,” spokeswoman Kaisu Karvala said in an email.

The company is pinning its hopes on an Angry Birds 3D movie, due for release in May 2016 and which the company believes will yield new licensing deals.

The job cuts follow similar steps from other gaming companies such as “Farmville” creator Zynga Inc which in May said it was looking to eliminate 364 jobs.
