• Great Christian owner; however, time, quality and cleanup of site less than desirable. Took almost 2 years to get the addition built (800 sq Ft) come and go workers, sometimes they show up, sometimes weeks pass without hearing a word. Very excited to work with them initially, but then the extreme amount of excuses for things became frustrating. Felt bad for project manager, he was often put in challenging situations. Husband and I had to do cleanup from workers otherwise cups, trash, and debris would just sit for weeks. They say they warranty work but I’m not impressed nor have faith they’d keep their word or show up. Spent a lot of money for a less than perfect result once things done. Yes, passed inspections, but the proof is when you start using the space and start to see all the things where they skimped or tried to fix cracked woodwork in door frames with patching instead of replacing; crawl space insulation not installed correctly and now just hangs. Never came back out to fix. hate leaving this review as I really like them personally, but not to ever do work for us again Connie W. on September 2023

• It went great. Alan was the only person who came out and gave us an estimate that recommended we put insullation in the floor so that we wouldn't hear the foot steps upstairs. It was a great idea. His sub contractors were all very kind and professional and very good at thier jobs. I couldn't have been more happy with the serives they provided. • New Hope Design - Build Inc. MasterBuilder did a thoughtful, thorough, and timely job in completing the feasibility study. There were some somewhat challenging circumstances given that the house was occupied by renters at the time of the study, but Chris Rowe worked to minimized the renters' hassle to the degree possible. The response was as thorough as desired, in writing (as desired), with financial and operational analysis (such as contingencies and structural limitations). I discussed the feasibility study twice with Chris Rowe and John Franco and had options for further discussion. They identified, scheduled, got feedback from, and synthesized the information from seven would-be subcontractors. Having met one of the subcontractors, I was very impressed with his and his firms competence, communication skill, contingency planning, and punctuality. It also reflected well on MasterBuilder. • New Hope Design - Build Inc. I had many companies come out and look at the unusual foundation issues my house was having. Masterbuilders was one of only two companies that thoroughly explored the causes of the foundation issues, including soil testing to determine the 'why' behind the foundation movement I was having. The other companies seemed only to address fixing the visual symptoms of problem inside the house. Masterbuilders where not the cheapest estimate but the work they where giving a quote for included a far more comprehensive solution to the problem that would prevent the problem from coming back. The company also worked very hard to work within my budget - when I discovered that the foundation issues where more serious than I had thought they looked for ways to bring down the overall cost of the project so I could accomplish the task. We went line by line through their proposal choosing which items where necessary and which ones could be postponed. The company ending up building a new framework under the house, including caissons and helical piers to sure up the foundation and prevent further movement do to the soil issues. The also re-framed the inadequacy structure of my living room. In addition to the necessary repair work while re-framing the living room the company replaced the plaster ceiling beams with exposed wood beams, and built a decorative column. The carpentry was all hand done and beautiful. I have been more than satisfied with the end results. They were a pleasure to work with, and gave me incredible personal attention. There crews were respectful and took very good care of my home. I will be using them again in the next few years to redo my bathroom Julia R. on November 2012

There were things out of his control that contributed to that, so we understood. And again, he kept us in the loop.
