When I was deciding on one, I read some remarks that the later "K" and Ai not only could focus a bit closer, but had a bit different bokeh. That is what made me choose my Nikkor-S•C version. But, since the optics formula was more or less the same, I never was sure about if what I had read was true. Now, with your last image, I think there might be something to it. Nice snapshots.
