Again, I'd say direct
buys...or maybe even POF if you use the right angle...

I hate to be negative, but I don't think there are any. The crowd
funding aspect makes it really hard to drum up enough interest without advertising.

I think ads are the best way unless you have a large social media following. If you have alot of followers, then you can promote your shirts to them. If you have a website, you can promote it their.
Promoting Shirts can be a pretty hard thing to do for free.
I
remember there was one instance where someone created a shirt on TeeSpring about gym teachers and ran an ad campaign for only a few days and he made TONS of sales! So running ads can bring you a good ROI if you do it correctly.
Hope This Helps

That's a great point. If you do your research and come up with a design that will resonate with a targeted group, AND you get traction on social media, you can make money without ads. It's just very difficult
. If you do have an ad account on FB, you can get access to some neat data that can help you target your campaigns.

Everyone talks about the best ways to promote
teespring t-shirts is on facebook by running
expensive ads on facebook.
What's some other social media sites besides facebook to promote t-shirts
or hoodies on or the best way to promote on facebook besides doing ads.
Well it would be very hard to scale up your campaigns if you're going to use FREE traffic. If you don't want to use paid traffic, then I think you're not yet ready to take the risk and be successful in Teespring.

i actually run fb ads to get likes first. then i sell to them. likes are alot cheaper. you will be shocked how cheap. for example:
i just finished a campaign to collect people interested
in basketball. collected a 1000 likes for $20.00
you can not beat that

What you're asking is sort
of impossible-to an extent.
I have a few Facebook pages with 10K-40K fans. If I post a shirt there I will always get organic sales. My record for one shirt post has been 25 organic sales.
And while that is all well and good, there's no way I could have gotten my fan pages to 10-40K fans if I hadn't invested a little money in getting likes to the pages as well as TIME to make posts and engage the fans to have them share content and promote the page virally.
If you want to
promote pages for free, it's going to require a lot of work and finesse.
One way of doing it is going to local stores in your area and talking to the business owner and work something out in regards to designing a shirt for their store and then having them do a minimum order. That way you can get all the shirts shipped to you and you can drop them off to them when they are printed.
Honestly though...that usually is way outside of someone's comfort zone.
But here's the
thing:
"Expensive" is relative to the profit being made.
If I spend $1000 on a campaign some would say that's expensive, but when I'm making $4000 off of that campaign then $1000 isn't expensive at all.
Once you find a shirt that's a winner (and you can find out if a shirt will be a winner with under 20 bucks.) you can scale your ads accordingly.
At the end of the day if you want to make anything CLOSE to good money with shirts, you need to swallow your frugality and
take a risk.
If you can come up with 100 bucks for advertising you could easily turn that 100 into 300 if you play your cards right.

I think fb ads is good option to sell T-shirts. If you want some free methods pintrest is the best for that. But it is time consuming process to get thousands of nich related followers. Create some intresting boards post regurly and get engaged with your followers.

We run a Facebook page, but we do re-share the posts we want to promote into Facebook Groups that have similar followers. You can't really post onto other Pages, but Groups is another story...

Try Email Marketing to promote teespring t-shirts. If this Method Work Then Please Never Forget to Share.

A more long term goal would be to create a website around your t-shirts and get it ranked on Google/Bing.

I'm not an expert but I've heard of other Teespring marketers using Pinterest successfully and I think
Instagram.
There's a guy on a Teespring Facebook group I was on who was tipping campaigns quite frequently only from free methods.
He would find people with big twitter or facebook pages and say hey I think your fans/followers would love this Teeshirt would it be cool if you shared it?
Good luck :-)

If your niche is generic enough, you can find FB groups and post your designs but that wouldn't give you that much of a boost, you can post it on pinterest account or something but nothing will give you immediate results..

A lot of ppl talking about Teespring and Facebook ads are just that - "talk." It's an easy pitch for the guroos because it's much more legitimate than telling people to hawk **** Berry or whatever the popular rebills are now days.
To make
it work though it all boils down to really good targeting and lots of testing. Obviously I wouldn't even recommend paid traffic to someone who doesn't have adequate capital (at least $100/day to spend).

Imgur has tons of traffic. Never tried this but if you were to come up with a really clever T that appealed broadly to their audience demo maybe could work???

You can:
1) Sell on Ebay
2) Sell to friends and family on Facebook
3) Develop a website and
sell it on your site
4) Start an e-commerce store and sell it there
