Used this laptop daily for about 3months and a week. All of sudden it dies and won't turn back on. I look up the issue and it seems like a common problem on Dell laptops is that the motherboards short out easily. This happened about 1 week after the 90 day Amazon guarantee expired. I just ordered a cooling pad and am hoping that it solves the overheating but other than that it’s great. Two issues: 1. crashed every now and then (once every couple weeks, infrequent, but annoying and couldn't figure out what's wrong, could be due to thermal problem). 2. If you connect an external monitor, the fans are almost always on and noisy. It is because that external monitor is driven by the GTX1060 even you don't play games.I own many laptops, DELL, HP, ASUS, LENOVO. ASUSs are the best, and DELLs are the least reliable.
