TTO - Trong ấn phẩm chuyên đề đặc biệt “500 greatest album of all time”, tạp chí âm nhạc nổi tiếng và uy tín nhất thế giới Rolling Stone đã bầu chọn 500 album hay nhất mọi thời đại. Trong danh sách từ 1 đến 100, The Beatles có tới 8 album! The Beatles hoàn toàn xứng đáng ở vị trí đầu bảng với album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Album này từng đứng đầu trong nhiều cuộc bầu chọn album hay nhất mọi thời đại khác nhau trước đây. Lý do nó hạng nhất thật dễ hiểu: Sgt. Pepper khi ra đời vào năm 1967 đã mang đến cho người nghe một nghệ thuật nhạc rock hoàn toàn khác trước và trở thành tiêu biểu cho thời đại âm nhạc thập niên 60.
