I like the holes on the sides when I'm around water because I don't worry about getting them wet and the water just drains out. True to size. I am almost always a 10 and occasionally a 10.5 but the 9 is what fit the best. They are very cute and great for walking on rocky shoreline and in the water. I purchased them in the fuchsia with the green bottoms. I was looking for the perfect shoes to wear on my trip to Disney World. I jumped at the chance to buy these. They were perfect for a full 12 hour day of walking. They are so comfortable. I received tons of compliments on these shoes. I normally wear between a 7-8.
