America's Next Top Model returns with another exciting edition of guys and girls competing to take home the coveted title. Potential contestants descend on Hollywood, while modeling swimwear and taking on crazy fans - and each other - as they vie for a spot in the competition. Host Tyra Banks, Miss J and fashion public relations maven Kelly Cutrone return to the judging panel with Yu Tsai returning as a photo shoot creative consultant. 2 The Girl Who Walks Away 12/8/15 Jonathan and Drew Scott ("Property Brothers") surprise the models by designing the cast house. One of the models breaks down and decides to leave the competition, while the remaining contestants participate in a semi-nude photo shoot in front of the public. 3 The Guy Who Gets Shipped Out 19/8/15 The remaining models must do a runway walk on shipping containers raised high above the ground and if they make it across, they will remain in the competition. Tyra guides the models in a photo shoot where they are bound together and the first contestant is eliminated. 4 The Girl Who Has a Close Shave 26/8/15 The models participate in an emotional photo shoot that honors war heroes. Meanwhile, some of the girls-and guys-struggle to accept their new looks, with one of them locking herself in the bathroom. 5 The Guy Who Gets a Hickey 2/9/15 As romance blooms between some of the models, a huge argument breaks out. The guys and girls are challenged to a photo shoot that will have no re-touching in the photos, which causes insecurity amongst some of the models. 6 The Girl Who Gets Possessed 9/9/15 The stress of the competition gets to some of the models, causing them to lose focus. The guys and girls are suspended in mid air for a photo shoot where they look possessed and a few of the models struggle. 7 The Guy Who Acts a Fool 16/9/15 The models struggle during an acting challenge, where a few don't take the task seriously. The guys and girls are tasked with pairing up for a sexy commercial at the beach, where jealousy runs rampant and some chemistry falls flat. 8 The Girl Who Got All Dolled Up 23/9/15 The models are tasked with creating a PSA in front of a harsh team of critics... Kids! At the photo shoot, the guys and girls they have to pose as life size dolls, where some of the models don't rise to the challenge. 9 The Guy or Girl Who Came Back 2/10/15 When the guys and girls visit modeling agencies, they are paired up with a previously eliminated model, who may earn the chance to come back in the competition. 10 The Girl Who Became Bootyful 9/10/15 The guys and girls shoot a music video for Tyra's new beauty line, where former top model contestant Don Benjamin makes an appearance. During a photo shoot where the models have to pose in mid air, tensions run high as a few of the models have a hard time taking direction. 11 And Then That Happened... 23/10/15 Catch up on Cycle 22 with all new footage of behind-the-scenes confessions, flirtations and meltdowns among the guys and girls. Host Tyra Banks joins Miss J, Kelly Cutrone and photo shoot consultant Yu Tsai to monitor all the on-camera drama. 12 The Guy Who Closed the Deal in Vegas 30/10/15 During a challenge event in Las Vegas, an overconfident model loses focus and fails to impress. Meanwhile, one of the models seem more focused on romance than winning the competition. 13 The Girl Who Took a Shot in the Dark 6/11/15 The models are challenged to create and pitch a unique business idea. During the photo shoot, the models have to pose in pitch black darkness of the woods, where they are freezing cold and cannot see anything. 14 The Guy Who Was a Momma's Boy 13/11/15 Tyra's mom is the photographer for a special photo shoot with models and their mothers. The contestants also shoot a mock cover of NYLON magazine and meet supermodel Chrissy Teigen, who gives them tips on making it in the modeling industry. 15 Finale Part One: The Girl Who Made a Splash 20/11/15 The finalists shoot a campaign for Zappos Couture and prepare for the final runway show. Drama causes one of the models to lose focus when it is discovered she hooked up with another one of the models. 16 Finale Part Two: America's Next Top Model Is... 4/12/15 In a runway showdown like no other, the final two models battle it out to earn the prestigious title. The finalists are joined by their mothers as they learn who is crowned America's Next Top Model. cipcipweebee 6:02 AM 0 The nineteenth cycle of America's Next Top Model (subtitled as America's Next Top Model: College Edition), consisted of thirteen episodes and was broadcast on The CW. It aired from August 24, 2012, until November 16, 2012, and was promoted by the catchphrase "Only One Can Be Top of the Class". The program saw thirteen women, all of whom were enrolled in higher education, compete for the title of America's Next Top Model, providing them with an opportunity to begin their career in the modeling industry. Its premise was originated with model Tyra Banks, who additionally serves as its executive producer and presenter. Judge and fashion photographer Nigel Barker, runway coach Miss J. Alexander and photo shoot creative director Jay Manuel were dismissed from the show after the previous cycle in an attempt to revitalize the show. They were replaced by British model Rob Evans and Filipino fashion blogger Bryanboy. Johnny Wujek also joined the crew as the new creative director of photo shoots. Evans and Bryanboy joined the judging panel with Banks and Cutrone, marking the return of four permanent judges since cycle 12. This cycle did not feature guest judges at panel  Another change was the incorporation of public voting as a factor in eliminations. A 1–10 scoring system was implemented to determine the merits of each contestant's performances at challenges and photo shoots, and the results for each week were calculated on a 50-point scale, with a maximum possible score of 10 from each of the three judges (Banks, Cutrone and Evans) and for each challenge and a maximum possible average social media score of 10.0. Each week, the girl with the lowest combined score was eliminated from the competition. The eliminated girls still participated in every photo shoot (including those taking place after the comeback competition was finished), and their photos were also still available to be voted on by the public. This separate competition was documented on the "Comeback series", which was untelevised and instead shown on The CW's official website. It lasted for six weeks, and the winning contestant, with the highest average social media score throughout the cycle, was allowed to rejoin the main competition. |
