2 Taylor Swift — "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" Release. July 7

Following her exit from Big Machine Records and the acquisition of her six-album music catalog, Swift has had fans on the edge of their seats, guessing which of her previous releases she'll rerecord next. Since 2021, the "Midnights" artist has rerecorded "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" and "Red (Taylor's Version). " While some fans speculated that "Taylor Swift" (2006), "1989" (2014), or "Reputation" (2017) would be next on her list, a majority of fans were right in guessing that "Speak Now" (2010) was next on her radar. In particular, fans noted that Swift left a series of clues referencing the 2010 album in the video for "Bejeweled," including snippets from "Enchanted" and "Long Live," which are both off of "Speak Now. " Laura Dern, who stars in the video, also said "speak not. " Finally, the "Bejeweled" music video was released on Oct. 25, 2022, exactly 12 years to the date of the original "Speak Now" release. Swift announced the new album during her Eras Tour stop in Nashville, TN on May 5, 2023. "It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk)," she tweeted. "I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing . . . and living to speak about it. " Swift added that the rerecorded album will also feature six never-before-heard songs from "the vault. " "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" is scheduled for release on July 7, 2023

" "I think that's one thing that in the beginning of the process was limiting to me creatively because I'm like, 'OK, is this pop enough? Is this urban enough?'" she continued in the Today interview. "Like, I was really, really putting myself through it and not enjoying and just making good ass music, which for me is the most important. She added that she was inspired by some of her favorite '90s musicians, such as Brandy, Monica, Toni Braxton, and Destiny's Child. In an April 2022 interview with BET, the singer said the album is a representation of her growth as an artist. "You can expect a range — me being my most vocal and [more] authentic than ever before from start to finish," she said. "There's a range from what you can hear from the records I've already put out along with the next record I'll be putting out — there's so much dimension to me as a person so I really wanted my artistry to reflect that. Sonically, I was able to experiment. I love being in the studio as my playground and production value to me is super important. As a songwriter, I've grown tremendously. With me trusting myself, you'll hear that confidence for sure. " While the album was expected to drop in 2022, the new projected release date is sometime in 2023. "As we all come out of quarantine and venture more into the world and try to reconnect with people we haven't seen in over a year, I hope the messages explored within the album open up conversations and allow people to access their feelings in a new way. "People think they know things about what happened to me along the way, the men I was with —— but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong," Lopez said of the upcoming release in an interview with Vogue. Because true love does exist and some things do last forever and that's real. I want to put that message out into the world and that does take a lot of vulnerability. People think that trauma is something that you talk about in therapy, and then you go to sleep and you maybe have a nightmare, but the rest of it is fairly normal, and that's just not true. Trauma permeates absolutely everything. It's in every small decision. I didn't give myself permission to talk about that because I was like, Who am I to talk about this? These songs are for you as much as they are for me. " Horan's junior album, "The Show," is scheduled for release on June 9 and is currently available for pre-order

18 Frank Ocean — New Album Release. TBA

Seven long years after the release of his second studio album, "Blonde," Frank Ocean returned in 2023 to headline at Coachella. While fans speculated the performance might indicate new music on the horizon, Coachella has come and gone without so much as a new single from Ocean. "It's been so long but I have missed you. "Still, the singer did give fans one grain of hope during a monologue in between songs. "It's been so long. Everybody talks about how long its been," he said of his third studio album in a clip shared on Twitter. "It's been so long but I have missed you. I want to talk about why I'm here because it's not because of the new album. Not that there's not a new album or something. " Amid the crowd's enthusiastic cheers, he added, "But there's not right now. No, chill chill chill. It's not right now. " Given the "Pink + White" singer's unpredictability when it comes to album releases, we can't be sure he plans to release new music in 2023, but he sparked a frenzy among fans in September 2022 when he wiped his Instagram account of all posts. While he hasn't shared any posts since, fans are hopeful that the cleanse is a sign of new music on the horizon. In fact, the anticipation even inspired one Twitter user to create the fanpage @DidOceanDrop, which provides daily updates on whether or not Ocean has dropped a new album. The tweets to date have been a resounding mix of "no," "nahhh," and "no not at all" since 2018, but fans are poised to leap on any news regarding a new album as soon as it arrives. In July 2022, Ocean also teased fans with an instrumental release on the first episode of "Blonded Radio" on Apple Music, during which he discussed psychedelics and working late nights in the studio. On Jan. 17, Ocean had fans buzzing again when he released new merch. Ocean's team accompanied each merch order with a letter, according to Billboard. "The Recording Artist has since changed his mind about the singles model, and is again more interested in durational bodies of work," the letters read. Since "Blonde," he's sporadically released a handful of singles and made feature appearances. In 2017, he appeared on JAY-Z's "Caught Their Eyes. 19 Kelly Clarkson — "Chemistry" Album Release. June 23

Kelly Clarkson plans to release her tenth studio album, "Chemistry," on June 23, and the inspiration behind her newest project is no secret. On Sept. 7, 2022, Clarkson told Variety that her new album — her first major studio release in over five years — is officially in the works. "It's coming out next year. And this is an important album," said Clarkson, who filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, Brandon Blackstock, on June 4, 2022. "I'm working on this in therapy. I have a hard time vocalizing what I'm feeling sometimes, so music is helpful for me. It's just been really healing. I recorded the record quite some time ago. ""I'm through it now, but there is somebody else who is in it, and that's a hard place to be, especially if you feel alone. "At first, Clarkson was unsure if she'd release the album at all, wanting to keep her emotions about the divorce to herself. "You can be very angry in that state of mind," she said. "So some of the songs, they definitely cover the gamut of emotions; there's everything on the album. It's almost like the arc of a relationship, because the beginning is so beautiful and so sweet, and then it evolves. And sometimes it doesn't evolve how you want. " Inspired by her fans, Clarkson decided to take those emotions and share them with the world in the hopes that expressing her true feelings might help someone else do the same. "I'm through it now, but there is somebody else who is in it, and that's a hard place to be, especially if you feel alone," the mother of two said. "It's a hard thing to describe, it's a hard thing to go through publicly, it's hard with kids. This record, I think I wrote this for a reason — not just for me, but maybe someone else can benefit from it. " In an Instagram Live session posted on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" YouTube channel, the singer added, "It took a minute for me to be able to release this album because I just had to be over it, through it, all around it. " Clarkson added that she's glad she gave herself a beat to cope with her emotions leading up to the album's release. She also pointed out that one of the last songs she wrote could be one of the album's singles, according to ABC. "[The album is] really cool," she said. "And it's a great arc of, like, a whole relationship. So it's not all sad or mad, but that's in there. And it's coming out. I swear it's coming out. "
